A Brief History
Ideal Research Centre (IRC), is a pioneering development research and implementation think tank, harnessing applications of science, technology & innovation policies for sustainable development. IRC or simply, IDEAL, is indeed the ideal vehicle for achieving sustainable healthy livelihoods in our region of coverage. Initially when founded in 2012, IDEAL’s focus was to respond to the challenges facing the western Kenya region with a focus on Kisumu, Migori, Homabay and Bungoma counties.
